How to ApplyParticipation in LodgingEEP is easy. The project management team will provide support throughout the process of identifying energy-saving project opportunities, construction management, verification of savings, and securing financial incentive payments. A clear and easy-to-follow step-by-step process is designed to move your facility from opportunity to realization of cost-savings projects.Step-by-Step Process for Participating in LodgingEEP. Step 1 Schedule an Energy AuditContact a LodgingEEP team representative to schedule an energy audit of your facility(ies). The results of the energy-saving audit will be provided to you in the form of an energy audit report within two weeks of the audit. The audit will include recommended energy-savings measures, estimated annual energy-savings and estimated financial incentives.Step 2 Install the ProjectProject installation begins. You may use a construction manager of your choice or the LodgingEEP engineering team can assist you.Step 3 Post Installation InspectionUpon completion of your project, a post installation inspection must be completed. LodgingEEP program staff will arrange for this to be completed. Sign and submit an installation report (LodgingEEP can assist you with the report) along with invoices or other cost documentation. A reviewer will contact you within 5 days to schedule a post-inspection.Step 4 Complete Incentive ApplicationLodgingEEP program staff will complete a detailed incentive application outlining the inspected installation measures and energy savings; this incentive application will be submitted to SDG&EŽ.Step 5 Receive PaymentUpon approval of the post-inspection, a formal notification will be sent. Incentive payments take approximately 6 weeks for delivery. 100% of the incentive will be paid upon completion. |
