Lodging Energy Efficiency Program
Lodging Energy Efficiency Program (LEEP) offers cash incentives for energy-saving retrofits for the hospitality market segment within San Diego Gas & Electric's (SDG&EŽ) service territory.
The program:

Performs energy audits to identify and scope projects.

Replaces existing equipment or systems.

Provides cash incentives for energy saving retrofit and retro-commissioning projects.
Lodging customers participating in LodgingEEP can receive up to 50 percent of project costs not to exceed $350,000 per project. Incentives are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are effective until funding is expended or the program ends December 31, 2009, whichever occurs first.
LodgingEEP serves the hospitality market segment in San Diego Gas & Electric's service territory regardless of energy usage or size. Businesses included in the hospitality market segment, as defined within the LodgingEEP program, include:

Hotels and Motels.

Bed and Breakfast Inns.

Casinos with Lodging Facilities.

Resorts and Spas.

| The Lodging Energy Efficiency Program is funded by California utility customers and administered by San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E®) under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission, through a contract awarded to Intergy Corp. California customers who choose to participate in this program are not obligated to purchase any additional services offered by the contractor.
